Kisses from your big sister! Today I raise a glass with Birthday Wishes to my brother. He is sorely missed. I wish to honor and celebrate his life and my family's time with him.
Funny, in the middle of the field is a marigold. At first it was just plain curious until we realized it was from a perimeter of marigolds we had planted around a past corn patch. This is the only one that has grown and with much delay. A wonderful surprise.
My daughter started this scarf quite a while ago. She is a very good knitter, nice and even. I came across it and decided to help her finish it up. Turned out pretty nicely, I think.
Wow, it is warm. No sewing or knitting today. Not yet anyway, but here is a photo from a trip to the river. Cool and refreshing. My youngest and I were at the park, trying to teach him to ride his bike, when we ditched the bike and headed for the water.
For me it means hope, rediscovery and progress. Feyac Blurk was the first word I ever wrote and why not use it for my first blog. My mother and father claim it was so adorable to them that it was nearly my brother's name. I have lost my art and have decided that this will be a great way to chronicle my journey finding it.
I have considered starting a blog for a little while now. I have been looking at blogs for a few months and am so encouraged and inspired by what I have found. Wonderful people sharing in such a wonderful way. So here I am after I had a friendly conversation with a gentleman today and decided what am I waiting for? I will admit I am concerned that some people will not appreciate what I have to say here but my intention is to find encouragement and to be a positive and giving contributor to this medium.
