Good Day.

We are soggy here.  The ground sounds like a sponge now that some of it is peeking out from under the snow. 
I played around a bit this morning and took portraits of some of our house plants. 

Now I am off to set up a still life-I have decided to give myself assignments.

good grief, we are lucky, just got our power back yesterday afternoon (out for five days).  it is luxurious around here today.  lots of people are still without and i hope they are restored soon.  we stayed busy during our days without-shoveling, plowing, playing games, doing puzzles, taming the wild beasty, stoking the fire and knitting.  now i have come down with a cold. we are baking around here today-bread and quiche so far.  it might take me a little bit to get back in action.  my best to everyone, hope all is well with you.
